KATIE Price says she’s ‘weak with men’ and picks ‘t***ers’ after the shocking sexual abuse she endured as a child.
The 42-year-old last month made the harrowing revelation that she was raped in a park at just seven years old.
Now in a new interview with The Sunday Times Magazine, Katie has revealed more about how she feels the ordeal has impacted her relationships and the men she has chosen to have in her life over the years.
Discussing her stint in The Priory and what lead to her ending up staying there for five weeks in January last year, she said: “What happened to me as a child was part of it to. They say that’s why I’m weak with men. I just pick t***ers, don’t I?”
Katie had previously revealed what happened to her as a child during an honest chat for the Changes with Annie Macmanus podcast.
She said: “My thing that’s always been wrong in my life is men. That is from an early age.
“I was raped as a kid. At seven. That is in my first book. I was in a park.”
She also recalled other incidents, which have led her to have therapy, including growing close to a photographer who took indecent pictures of her when she was just 12.
Katie’s latest interview was about her relationship with her mum, Amy, and she said: “My mum has embarrassed me so many times.
“She’ll turn up at my house and say to the latest boyfriend: ‘Have you got a job? Or are you just going to ponce off my daughter?’ She is ruthless and it turns out she’s always right.”
